FRANZ NICOLAY
Last seen in Reading late 2011.The American chap-once time member of the HOLD STEADY.Is coming back as an invitation from his good friend and touring buddy Ben Marwood.This is a special solo show for Franz.The only one that he is doing as part of his UK tour.The rest of it is with a full band.

Franz-for those who do not know-is a multi-instrumental and man about town peddling a modern vaudeville with full-throated songs and stories shamelessly strident, stentorian and more than a little sentimental.

Club Velocity legend.All round brilliant song writer.If you live in Reading-you should really know Ben by now.If you have not-catch up-grandad. He has release two proper albums for Xtra Mile Recordings.Which are both essential and great.Frank Turner is a fan.Ben is off to the USA next week to support FT in the land of the free.Ben Marwood is a vital live experience.
