St Mary's Church, Hitchin Preservation Trust 'HeartofHitchin appeal'

St Mary's is Grade 1 listed building, mainly dating from the 14th & 15th Centuries. Many repairs and additions have happened over the ages, and there is an ongoing programme to monitor and address the areas most in need of work. The St Mary's Preservation Trust is a registered Charity (Registered Charity 276501) which raises money to repair the building.
At the heart of Hitchin, the beautiful Church is a perfect, spacious setting for events, concerts and celebrations, as well as our regular church services. All profits from our events go towards urgent work to restore and keep the Church in good order for generations to come.
