Lucem House Community Cinema Plus+ St Helens.

Community Cinema Plus+ is a wholly volunteer led and run not for profit community Cinema. It is located in the town centre St Helens. In the absence of an independent cinema offer in St Helens, take2films a St Helens film society, instigated some local screenings in 2013 to establish demand, now we have a strong team of 10, a volunteer committee and a financial and a legal identity. Our landlords are the YMCA to whom we are grateful for allowing us to rent the building.
We screen films from a range of genres to cater for an inclusive audience: world, comedy, drama, sport, youth, political. We are now into our third season. Please get in touch if you would like to support our efforts or volunteer, or to set up a film club at our venue with support.
