Oxjam Oxford

Oxjam is the UK’s largest grassroots music festival, dedicated to eradicating poverty around the world with Oxfam. Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn’t inevitable.

Since the Festival’s inception more than 60,000 musicians have played to an audience of 1.5 million people, raising £2.8 million to support Oxfam’s vital work. By supporting Oxjam then, you are also supporting your community and your local independent music venues, you’re providing a platform for up and coming musical talent and you are raising money to fight poverty worldwide.

Oxjam Oxford 2018 will be taking place in and around Cowley Road on 27 October across multiple venues. This one-day musical event will feature local up-and-coming artists and its main purpose is to raise funds to help Oxfam fight poverty in the UK and the rest of the world.

In addition to the main event, there will be multiple fundraising events organised over the summer - gigs, buskathons, raffles and more - and we need happy, energetic people to help us organise and run those events.
