SwanWing Productions is a theatre company formed in Brighton, East Sussex during the 2021 Lockdown when we rehearsed our first play "Love in the Time of Lockdown" on zoom. This play was performed in 2021 at the Brighton and Edinburgh Festivals.
Our playwright/director Saskia then wrote a second work for the group: "Battle - a modern mystery play", inspired by the York mysteries which was shown in Battle near Hastings and at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe. It is a look at men who fight from 1066 to modern times - as seen through the eyes of the women. Why are the men still fighting? And how do we continue to cope?
