Between 1991 – 1998 Blueboy released three albums, eight singles, toured the UK, France and Japan and were among the chosen few to record a session for the legendary John Peel. Shortly after this the band splintered to pursue other projects. After a 30 year hiatus and a renewed interest in the band, fuelled by the publication of These Things Happen by Jane Duffus, the band played a sold out gig at London's Water Rats. Since then, they were invited to play at Indonesia's 12,000 capacity Joyland Festival, released singles 'One' and 'Deux' and in September 2025, their new album A Life in Numbers. Their first UK headlining show of 2026 takes place on Friday 5th June at London's Lexington with an acoustic set followed by a full band retrospective show with new member John McNicholas on guitar.
