new school futures

This is one in a series of occasional events from New School Futures. It is part of a very informal and unfunded quest to re-imagine the education system. It is based on the assumption that our species must learn to put Nature first if we are to survive for much longer. We therefore need to reimagine the Purpose of our schools and universities. The more that universities focus their attention on assessing mainly HEAD-oriented skills (critical thinking via text, etc.) they less they are likely to cultivate and integrate the complementary wisdoms of the HAND, the HEART and HUMOUR.
