Join us for a spectacular evening of instrumental music and celebration at the magnificent Albert Hall in Nottingham. This ornate 19th Century concert hall is renowned for generating a terrific atmosphere, allowing audiences to become completely absorbed in the performance. We fully expect our Gala Concert at The Albert Hall, with its excellent facilities, to be a very sociable evening and encourage you to come and to bring family and friends.
Oakham’s Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra will perform an inspired programme of folksong arrangements by Grainger, and instrumental music by Grieg, Barber and Saint-Saëns. drawing on the extra power of the Hall’s superb Binns Organ in our grand finale.
