The Barnet Symphony Orchestra presents a wonderful opportunity to hear one of Mahler's masterpieces - his symphony no. 4. It's a very accessible piece to listem to full of themes and melodies. Unusually there is a part for a solo sporano in the final movement which is this piece is paired with Berlioz' song cycle 'Summer Nights' - a set of lovely compositions. Our soprano soloist will be the very talented Sarah Power.
The concert starts at 7:30pm and will be finished by 9:30pm.
The ticket price (children are free!) includes refreshments and programme and it should be a great evening. See you there!
