Music Against Poverty returns to Mayfest for another musical celebration in aid of charity. Featuring London Strings, a new young and vibrant string orchestra made of the cream of London’s emerging talent producing deep and exciting interpretations of Romantic and contemporary works. Alongside much loved orchestral music they present new works by conductor and composer Ezio Bosso, whose style combines ‘avant garde’ techniques with ‘popular’ accessibility much praised by critics.

This concert is in support of the Mathieson Music Trust
