Event information
French band Orwell perform at The Betsey Trotwood as part of their UK tour - their music has been described as "subtle and exquisite" (Mojo) - it's catchy intelligent pop performed with style and elegance.
Also performing will be Louis Philippe - the acclaimed UK-based French songwriter/composer/arranger with a new ensemble featuring Danny Manners and Alasdair McLean.
Support is by Louise Le May - her unique voice and songs have won praise from Tom Robinson (BBC6 Music), Jonathan Coe (Author/Journalist), Van Dyke Parks (Brian Wilson), Sean O'Hagan (High Llamas) and many more.
