The Weald Choir of Crawley invites you to join us for a stroll through the wonderfully varied landscape of American music for voices – everything from folksong and spirituals to Broadway musicals and gospel . American Independence Day will be celebrated with ‘American Independents’ - a concert of music by American composers. The lively rhythms of Bernstein’s ‘America’ will contrast with the haunting harmonies of Lauridsen’s ‘O Magnum Mysterium’. Guests Ifield Community College Choir, led by Patrick Allen, will bring some of their American favourites along to delight us.
