Seahawks
The day that yacht rock got so unmoored that it drifted to Mars. We are thrilled to present the debut live performance of Pete Fowler (Monsterism Island) and Jon Tye's (Lo/ Loaf/ Loeb) luxurious ambient Space Ship - the creaking floorboards, acoustics and arpeggio'd riffs of a post-rave Flying Dutchman. Go here:http://seahawks77.wordpress.com/ for some ocean trippin' sound and words and check a Monsterism DJ session from Pete at the Pylon here:http://exoticpylon.com/pages/2009/10-18-09.html.

Dolphins into the Future
Lieven Marten's DEEP listening project from Antwerp via Atlantis... Dolphins into the Future has to be one of most unique and beautiful sounds to have surfaced over the last decade, a truly immersive replicant reconfiguration of new age whereby meditational bliss travels through the looking glass... Dolphins represent a high watermark in wiped-out and luxuriously washed-up psychedelia - a stunned stoned paen to life on an eternal acid-fried shoreline - gorgeous, way out and entirely surreal- the teeming sound of the oceanic borderline brought surreally to life.... The future hib can be found here: http://cetaceannationcommunications.blogspot.com/

Ultramarine
Ultramarine simply were one of the defining bands of the 90's - a staggeringly beautiful, radical and warm revisioning of rural ambience via the emergent rave scene. 1993's United Kingdoms masterpiece saw them working with Robert Wyatt and pre-empting the vogue for the staggeringly vast resurgence of interest in folk music. Dormant for a decade, Ultramarine have reformed now that live technology has finally caught up with their own grand visionary ambitions. We really are beyond delighted to be presenting their return to live performance and you can hear just how absolutely magnificent they now sound by checking a radio session they did for the pylon late last year here: http://exoticpylon.com/pages/2010/12-04-10.html.
