We would like to claim to be the first to discover the endearing and enchanting Rachel Sermanni, but unfortunately Mumford & Sons, Anna Calvi, the NME, and every SXSW delegate with their ear to the folk radar got there first. Classically trained and accomplished, Rachel’s reflective and vulnerable lyrics are framed by captivatingly haunting melodies, and the magical music that has lured so many to her charms will be perfectly suited to the ambience of The Gallery Cafe. Rachel has played a number of Communion nights (Mumford & Sons’ label), in addition to this year’s T in The Park, and has developed a huge industry buzz around her.

We are pleased to announced support from It’s All Happening favourite, Robbie Boyd. With his astute, urban folk songs, their sunny disposition finding their roots in the personality of its creator, Robbie Boyd’s energetic and refreshingly direct performance will invigorate this intimate setting.
