High Wolf uses loops, percussive sounds, fuzzy keyboards and obscure sunken melodies to create a ritual space that combines aspects of exotica, ethno-flux, drone and minimalism while skirting the kinda haunted forests of tone previously the domain of Spencer Clark and James Ferraro.

ENSEMBLE ECONOMIQUE

Ensemble Economique is a drone / psychedelic project of Brian Pyle (Starving Weirdos, RV Paintings) started in 2008 in Manila, California.

His approaches to drone come from different angles -- from extended tonal drift-scapes to brief exercises in dissonance, taking in a broad range of influences.

In 2010 he collaborated with Brighton's The Outer Church on a work for Exotic Pylon's Weird Tales For Winter series on Resonance FM, alongside the likes of The Advisory Circle, Vindicatrix and Jonny Trunk.
