It’s a new year and a new look; and we’re not just talking about for any freshers. We like you just got bigger and better and we’re super excited to unveil all our upcoming gigs. Following on from a fantastic few months of festivals and summer fun, we wanna keep the good vibes going; particularly for any new arrivals in London. Consequently we would like to give a huge ‘we, like you’ welcome to all freshers. To show how much we really do like you we’ve put together a cracking welcome party: We, Like You and The Urban Room’s Fresher’s Party 2011 on the 24th September.

To kick off what is set be to be a fantastic term of we like you nightlife, exclusively at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, we’re proud to announce we’ve got Xfm’s mix-master Eddy Temple Morris. If you’ve ever tuned into Xfm from 10pm then you will have come across Morris playing the very best in ‘mash-ups, cut-ups, bootlegs, and according to Xfm themselves ‘unbelievably good dance music’. He’s eclectic, musically erratic, extremely good, and we’re ecstatic to say we’ve got him for the night!
Supporting Xfm’s dance DJ supremo are our fantastic new residents The Disablists. No rookies to the 1’s and 2’s these guys been British DMC Champions not only once, but FOUR times!!! Beats in Abundance - the WLY crowd pleasers - will spin you into a party-vibe fuelled trance, with Matt Freedom doing the warm-up set. It’s gonna be beyond fun!

That’s not all for the night however; delve deeper down into the lower level of the lanes to the Kingpin suite to find a drum and bass haven. Whether you’re a big fan of your beats and bass being much heavier, or you just fancy a quick change on the night before popping back upstairs, we are positive you will love our newly opened second room hosted by our new sister crew Audio Danger.

With five cracking releases, Audio Danger is now a firm household name in the drum and bass scene. Their last release – the spell-binding The Place from Sensa & Haste (AKA Hybrid Minds) – pulled in over 220,000 views on YouTube, smashed the number 1 spot on the Drum&Bass Arena Download store and cemented Audio Danger's reputation as a label determined and destined to bring out quality, enduring records. We’re more than hyped to have them hosting our newest room.

Several tracks released on ADR have had plays on Radio 1 & Radio 1xtraby Fabio, Grooverider, Bailey & Crissy Criss, and also have become firm favorites of DJs such as Netsky and Camo & Krooked. Audio Danger hosts its own nights across Europe, recently hosting a bi-monthly room at the mighty Warning in Cambridge, with hugely successful international nights in Kufstein & Vienna in Austria.

Now for the very first time Audio Danger Records is touching down in the capital at Bloomsbury Lanes, rolling out a mixture of only the finest drum & bass and dubstep. Expect high calibre bassline rollers spanning dubstep and drum & bass from all DJs involved. Ping Pong in particular is one to watch as he mixes audio with visuals LIVE at the same time, his is a set definitely not to be missed.

Label Bosses Jimmy Danger and BMK will also be making an appearance: Jimmy Danger has MC'd across Europe, playing at venues such as Mainframe (Vienna), Switch (Vienna) and Warning (Cambridge, UK). Joining them is Audio Danger resident Taken Root, and Drum&BassArena residents DJ Kwaii and DJ Snige. Miss this and miss out - Audio Danger - Bloomsbury Lanes - 24th September.
