Jon Hooper Quartet (featuring Suzie Landray)

The Jon Hooper Quartet was formed in 2009 when, after 15 years as director and pianist with big bands, shows and a rock'n'roll band from London to Edinburgh, Jon decided to cut back and form a band that can fit in his front room.

After a rigorous selection process, Jon formed the quartet with long-term collaborator and trombonist Martin Skipsey (on drums), saxophonist, guitarist and brother Mark Hooper (on bass), and invited chorister-turned-jazz-singer Suzie Landray).

Playing a fun selection of jazz from the last 80 years, and with support from special guest Eleanor Hooper on Sax, the band are proud to support Oxjam.
