After this year’s sell out show, high energy ten piece band Blues Brothers Banned are back with another jam-packed night of music and mayhem. Hits from the cult Blues Brothers and Commitments films feature throughout their performance, punctuated with R&B, soul, swing and ska in a quirky mix of classics and contemporary tuneage. The Banned work in anything from their own reggae-style take on the Scrubs theme to Rapper’s Delight.
Blues Brothers Banned regularly play venues and outdoor events all over the UK and Ireland. When they last played here, Ryan Molloy, lead of the award winning West End musical Jersey Boys, joined them on stage.
Banned highlights of 2010 include playing the EICC at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Cork Jazz Festival.
Come on down to The 100 Club and party with you, me, them, everybody.
