Event information
Delicatessen are a London-based group playing instrumental music and songs from the Balkan and Mediterranean regions and beyond. The group's choice of music reflects the diversity of their backgrounds (Greece, Japan, Turkey, France, Germany and the UK), their shared musical interests and their passion for performing familiar and less well known pieces in a unique, engaging way.
The 7-piece band's line-up includes violins, accordion, oud, guitar, bass, darbuka/tablas and two singers and their repertoire weaves a colourful tapestry of moods and emotions, telling stories through the sounds and melodies of heart-stopping love songs, tales of every day life and furiously driving dance rhythms. From Klezmer to Sephardic, Rebetiko to Rai, their aim is to delight their audiences with a musical feast from East and West.
PLEASE NOTE: DOORS OPEN: 7pm, MUSIC STARTS AT 9pm.
The venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of tables. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, with priority given to diners. If you’d like a table, please ensure you arrive early.
