Few tribute bands can boast direct praise from the band they are emulating. U2-2 is one such band:

"We do this because we love playing live, not for the money and certainly not for any kind of fame"

U2-2 were formed by current members in 1993 under the name 'Achtung Baby'. During the 90's, the the band quickly became the Greatest tribute to U2 in the World.
A Truly 'look-a-like sound-a-like', the band played every major town in Britain & Ireland and complete successful tours of Europe, The Channel islands and the Middle East, many of the gigs were beamed on numerous TV show and live radio sessions, some world wide. The Band played regular sell out shows in Dudley's, 'Robin' 'JB's' & London, 'Venue' 'Forum' success with sell out shows in Coleraine, Belfast, Sligo & Cork. Their Largest show in Ireland was performed at the 'Point Depot' in Dublin to over 7,000 people in 1997 with Wayne Taylor on Vocals. The band toured Portugal for two tours and played to massive crowds of up to 10,000 people per show.

U2-2 formerly announce that our new vocalist is Andy Bagnal. Andy and the group performed together from 1996-2000, doing over 200 shows with the band, from Ireland to Bahrain. We look forward to our 2012 together, to work some more magic for all U2 fans.
