PRINZHORN DANCE SCHOOL released their debut album on DFA records in 2008 and it was clear from the start that some people got it whilst others were left mystified - including the Guardian reviewer who gave it two different ratings (just to be sure). Three years later and the world has caught up with the starkness and sombre wit of their debut and it nestles quite comfortably with the grain of hope witnessed on their current single ‘Seed, Crop , Harvest’. Tobin Prinz (Voice, guitar, drums) and Suzi Horn (Voice, Bass, Drums) we’re determined “to bring in some colour and tenderness” to their second album, however with optimism in place, the music never forgets the realism of living in a somewhat maligned World. New Album Clay Class arrives on the 27th Jan (once again through DFA) and provides a thrillingly clear picture of what living in the 21st Century Britain is like.
