John Renbourn was a founding member of 60' band Pentangle which burst traditional categories thoroughly, but tastefully. A musician of an exceptional kind, combining an insight into the techniques of musical structure with an instrumental command and a sense of aesthetic adventurism, he is one of the most refreshing, skilled and sophisticated guitarists to grace our ears today.

Wizz Jones is a legend and a piece of history, if you like. There are few artists with more claim to being a 'musician's musician' and greats such as Eric Clapton and Keith Richards have named him as an important early influence. But Wizz Jones is much more than a piece of history, he's a damn fine act in a noble tradition and he's one of the finest guitar players you're ever going to see. Wizz's picking style has attack and the bass and top string riffs roll out fluently, like a whole band. There's an awful lot going on and not an awful lot of people can do it! And he can sing too.

John and Wizz will be performing both their own solo material as well as playing as a duo. The combination of these two rather special gentlemen will give you an evening of magical music and humorous tales blending guitar, banjo and song.
