In Gordon’s brief flirtation with pop/rock stardom with the eponymous Gordon Giltrap Band in the late 70s he had a hit with “Heartsong” (nominated for an Ivor Novello award and used as the theme tune for the BBC “Holiday” programme). Since then Gordon has returned to his roots and gained a reputation as one of the leading solo acoustic guitarists in the country. He has collaborated with many top musicians including Brian May, Rick Wakeman, Midge Ure and Martin Taylor amongst others. This is a rare opportunity to see a guitar legend performing in such an intimate setting.
