L&D Choral Society - Celebrating "The Best of British"

Lancaster & District Choral Society is pleased to welcome you to our annual spring concert for 2012. This is the third of the three concerts for the Choral Society's 175th Anniversary.

We are producing a concert that celebrates our 175th anniversary, HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 London Olympics.

This concert includes music that was used at the Queen's Coronation in 1953, Olympic style music (e.g "Chariots of Fire") and British composers old and new, including the Choral Suite from Karl Jenkins' "Armed Man Mass - for peace", a Beatles Medley and much more.
Weekend parking is free at the University and buses run every ten minutes from Lancaster City Centre and regularly from Morecambe.
