BLACKLISTERS
The handsome foursome return to their home turf to inflict their brutal sound on Leeds. Formed in 2008 the band have steadily built up a strong following having toured around the country with the likes of Kong and Pulled Apart By Horses and playing both Leeds & Reading festival in 2011. They release their debut album via the UK’s finest noisy powerhouse record label Brew, due for release on April 2nd 2012 . Recorded by Ross Halden of Ghost Town studios (Rolo Tomassi, Castrovalva, Hawk Eyes) and loaded with the singles “Trick Fuck”, “Swords” & “I Can Confirm” it promises to be an uncompromising piece of work that will surely stir up some much needed adrenaline into the world of modern guitar music.

Introducing Shapes, emperors of the angular riff. In late 2010 the Birmingham trio booked in to Tonteknik Studios in Umea, Sweden to record their debut full-length album with legendary producer Eskil Lovstrom, famed for his work with Refused (The Shape Of Punk To Come), Poison The Well, In Flames, Hell Is For Heroes, Meshuggah and more. Their live performances are highly energetic, heavy and relentless. Add together their solid musicianship and you’re onto a winner here.
