Tender Trap
A very welcome return to HDIF Presents for the magnficent Tender Trap, playing their first gig of the year as a warm up for what promises to be a busy 2012 for the band - they support the Magnetic Fields on their UK tour in April, with a new single and album to follow. Expect peerless indie pop and a brand new line up featuring Emily of Betty And The Werewolves.

Knickers
Knickers?? Knickers?! Who in the right mind would call their ba...oh right, yes, we see. A warm hand if you please for the brand new band from comic genius and erstwhile leader of The Loves, Simon Love. Already signed to Elefant records, Knickers sees Simon stepping back to concentrate on songwriting and guitaring duties, allowing singer Sarah to make his lovable sixties pop gems shine. This will be their second gig.

Big Wave
A brand new band from Torquay, Big Wave caught our eye when they made a charming DIY video for their song, "Another Year Or Two" (see the video here). They play swoonsome indie pop in the vein of She & Him and The School, and this will be their debut London performance.

The Empty Set
A duo from London and Manchester comprising of a singing acoustic guitar player and a violinist, who create sumptuous, poetic indie folk songs that bristle with discontent, The Empty Set have played HDIF Presents twice before, once supporting Butcher Boy at Jamm. After a break of a year or so, this gig sees the duo return to action. For fans of The Mountain Goats, Ballboy, and early B&S.
