Blackpool based Karima is about to grab 2012 by the scruff of its neck with a massive 22-date spring tour, taking her much lauded live show to every major UK town or city, including Oxford's The Jericho on April 29th.
Karima's autobiographical lyrics are brought to life by her inimitable voice. She returns this summer with her eagerly anticipated second album 'The Remedy', the follow-up to 2009's critically acclaimed debut 'The Author'. A stunning collection of rough-hewn gems, 'The Remedy' was produced by Flood (U2, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave), mixed by Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Rufus Wainwright) and highlights include 'Glory Days', 'Stay', 'Remedy' and 'Wherever I Go'.

Monument Valley
Despite the expansive moniker, Monument Valley is in fact the musical alias of Londoner Ned Younger, who weaves all his musical touchstones into timeless narrative songwriting, often with little more to hand than a bright orange telecaster. Having made his debut in late 2011 with the stark and affecting Tongues EP, Younger found immediate critical support from the likes of Artrocker, This Is Fake DIY and Beat Magazine, with radio tips from Steve Lamacq and XFM.
2012 looks set to become an equally promising year for Monument Valley, with a new double A side and extensive tour due this Spring. Get set.
