Formed in Leeds in 1978, Green Gartside's Scritti Politti have enjoyed both cult status & worldwide success. They've toured with Joy Division and been covered by Miles Davis, they've been John Peel favourites & written songs for Chaka Khan. Following their 2006 Mercury Music Prize nominated album White Bread Black Beer, Green has been working with Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor on a new album. This is a very rare show, one of only two club shows in the North this year.
