Informed by the shadows of the city, the paranoia of urban life and the hangover of too much partying, this is a tense, turbulent album - an indie classic in waiting. STUFFY + THE FUSES (Herne Hill)
Stuffy is a drummer. He's a rather good drummer. Both Graham Coxon and Charlotte Hatherley think so too. They have him in their bands.
But, when he playing with the dynamic Fuses, Stuffy wheels the drumkit out to the front of stage and shouts and sings to his heart's content along to some jolly fine alterno-rock created by the three Fuses. Nice.
