Huw has won the Philip and Dorothy Green Award (Making Music), the prize for ‘Highest placed Woodwind or Brass Player’ at the Haverhill Sinfonia Young Soloist Competition and the concerto competition at the Royal College of Music.

James Sherlock performs widely as a soloist, accompanist and conductor. He studied at Trinity College, Cambridge and is a winner of the Royal Overseas League Piano Competition, BBC Fame Academy and Gold Medallist at the Marcello Galanti Competition.

This concert is supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
