Four of the finest exponents in Traditional Irish Music join forces to bring a concert of lively old-time in the relaxed surrounds of Otley Courthouse. Karen Tweed (piano accordion) is surely known as one the primary driving forces in bringing the accordion to the fore in Irish Music, recognised for her teasteful style and expressive playing she is joined by Tom McElvogue (flute). Originally from Newcastle Tom now resides in Dublin. He launched his Album ’The Long Road’ last year to critical acclaim. Completing the line up are well known faces in Leeds, Des Hurley (fiddle) and Chris OMalley (piano) from the Irish Arts Foundation.
