Michael Jackson Touched Me - work in progress
I'm 31 years old and I’m still obsessed with Michael Jackson. Get over it yeah?
For the last 20 years, I've followed my icon around the world, trying to persuade everyone in my way he's not the man the media has made out.
Not only has it annoyed the hell out of my friends and family, it’s now annoying me.
So what do I do? Is it time to hang up that white glove for the last time and accept people's opinions or should I be proud and stand up for what I believe in?
In this journey, I will take a look back at why I became so obsessed with such a controversial figure and the difficulty I still have with letting it go. Filled with hilarious anecdotes of my experiences as a Jacko fan, this is a story about how being such a defensive ambassador for the man has affected my relationships with people around me.
This is a show less about Michael Jackson, but more about me and how being such an avid supporter of such a controversial figure has shaped me as a person.
