NORTHERN STAR RECORDS presents:
A REVOLUTION IN SOUND
Northern Star is a record label dedicated to independent and underground sounds. Launched in March 2006 with the first volume of the now legendary Psychedelica series, the label has evolved and refined their sound with the Revolution In Sound compilations. The compilations have placed well known cult acts alongside a host of unknowns and have launched the careers of The Black Angels, The Nova Saints, The December Sound and Youngteam amongst many others. The response to Northern Star has been phenomenal - one of massive public support and great critical acclaim garnering rave reviews from across the planet. Northern Star has become a truly worldwide phenomenon. Independent bands from all over the planet have united under the Northern Star umbrella - bands and musicians from the USA, Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. Northern Star - we're starting a revolution and we want you to be part of it!

THE TELESCOPES
The Telescopes are one of the greatest psychedelic/experimental bands on the planet. They are also one of the most influential uncompromising acts of the 21st century. Despite having plied their trade for over 20 years, time has not mellowed the Telescopes nor has it diminished their impact. Having being a part of the legendary Creation Records roster they will be playing songs from their legendary albums plus new songs. This show will be their first London appearance after Austin Psych Fest – UNMISSABLE!!!

NOVA SAINTS
Occupying the space between the psychedelic punk of Creation Records, the garage pop of the British Invasion groups, the harmony-drenched troubadours of the American West Coast and the alien soundscapes of 4AD, The Nova Saints are reputed for a their brilliant and eclectic live sets.
'The kind of delicious shoegaze/psych-rock that once made Ride and early Verve so viscerally thrilling.' - God Is In The TV

THE LOST RIVERS (Germany)
Noise infused three-piece The Lost Rivers hail from the south west German state of Baden-Württemberg yet sound as if they might have been conceived in the outer reaches of hell. Surefire challengers to A Place To Bury Strangers' crown as kings (and queen) of sonic annihilation. Be sure to have those earplugs at the ready. Having firmly established themselves as one the most exciting rock 'n' roll bands on the planet, The Lost Rivers come over to play their first ever UK shows in support of their forthcoming debut album 'Sin and Lostness'
"While comparisons with ... earlier incumbents of such wares like Spacemen 3, Loop and The Brian Jonestown Massacre are inevitable, there's an immeasurably distinct edge to The Lost Rivers make up that sets them apart from most of their peers both past and present." - Drowned In Sound

HONEY
Honey are a new band from Glasgow. Their sound is like a cross between the Stone Roses and My Bloody Valentine. The perfect soundtrack for the summer. They’ve been making waves online for the past few months with the release of their debut EP ‘Taste It and See’ and their latest single Nowhere Floating. This is their first ever London show.
