Boogie for Babies Zumbathon AGSC

The Boogie for Babies Zumbathon™ charity event series comes to the grand Main Hall at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre for our biggest event yet! We hope you can make it along as this will be a Zumba event like no other, suitable for both complete beginners and experienced dancers.

The Zumbathon will be kicking off at 1.00pm and keeping your pulses racing until 4.00pm, with both the usual firey Zumba dances and a whole range of special fiesta-inducing moments where you will be joined on the dancefloor by our talented instructors. Please aim to arrive around 12.30pm so we can get you in the door and ready to rock!

Local Zumba instructors Beth Coldwell and Wahida Finlay will be leading the day and you can find out about their regular classes by visiting the Boogie for Babies website.

This event will be supporting the sickest and most vulnerable of local babies, with all proceeds going to the Saving Tiny Lives Appeal. This appeal is is providing specialist equipment for the Special Care Baby Unit at Frimley Park Hospital. Visit the website for more information.

*IMPORTANT* Health and Safety Announcement!

In order to take part you will have to sign a physical activity readiness questionnaire (PARQ) and a standard consent form, which you can download from our website HERE: www.frimleypark.nhs.uk/boogie

Any participant under the age of 18 will also need their forms countersigned by a parent/guardian.

Zumba is really meant for those aged 16 and over but you can bring along younger kids if you like. It is an adult activity with adult moves (!) so we don't advise participation by anyone under 14. There are a limited number of concessions available for under-12s if you would like to bring the whole family along. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
