we will also be holding a raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes - all money raised will go towards Action on Depression.

Action on Depression is the only national Scottish organisation working with and for people affected by depression. We are a user-influenced organisation committed to providing support, raising awareness of depression and treatment options and reducing the stigma that still surrounds the condition.

We run a number of support services including an email and phone information service, self-help support groups and also run "Living Life to the Full" courses based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the Highlands, Lothian, East Ayrshire and online.

Our successful Look OK...Feel Crap? and Getting On, Not Getting Down, are flagship campaigns that have encouraged people to seek help for their depression and our Mood Matters campaign encourages good mental health in everyone.

We also lead on Action on Depression Week Scotland (formerly known as Scottish National Depression Week) and are a member of the Cross Party Group on mental health.
