Celebrate the August Bank Holiday Sunday with Oxjam Clapham. We will be hosting a 'Jukebox' evening with bands and DJ's playing your requests! Come along, meet the Oxjam Team, enjoy some killer tunes and help raise money to support Oxam's work in the UK and abroad.

On Sunday 26th August, Secondo, Clapham's finest retro vintage bar will play host to london cover band Amuse Bouche, playing a selection of 50's,60's, jazz motown and funk tunes- all at your request. Following this our resident DJs will be spining the tunes you want to hear until the early hours of the morning. There are guaranteed to be more suprises in store and it will also be your first chance to buy tickets to main event in October.

The Oxjam live jukebox event is the first of many unique nights Oxfam is bringing to Clapham as part of the Oxjam Clapham Takeover. Setting the standard for many great live music events to come, this launch party has a twist. Local bands and DJs will be playing vintage hits all night, and taking your requests-simply make a donation to Oxfam to hear your song.

Held at Secondo, a bar described as an "east London bar taking a sabbatical in Clapham", this hidden gem, tucked under the railway bridge is the perfect setting for a night of 1950s/60s, funk, jazz, Ska, and Motown tunes.

We have all been there-desperately trying to get the DJ to play "your" song as the night gets going, only to be ignored. So If you want to impress everyone with your eclectic music taste- be it your favourite Michael Jackson song, or a Motown classic your dying to dance to- come down and get in as many requests as you can. Remember the more you bid-the less time you will have to wait for your song!
