Scum of Toytown are Ska-punksters with beautiful well crafted tunes for a wider world. Exponents of fine agit-pop in 90’s ‘free festival’ Britain they were much loved by the late John Peel on Radio 1. Their EP’s were well received by NME enabling them to secure a record deal with Words of Warning label that culminated in the release of their brilliant album ‘Strike’ which was recorded at Southern Records Studios by producer Har
vey Birrell (Therapy? and Ministry amongst others). They toured the UK and Europe for many years with the likes of Back to the Planet until they disappeared in 1997. Re-emerging in 2010 as tuneful and energetic as ever they are guaranteed to keep you bouncing along.
