Berlin/Brooklyn-based lo-fi electro-folk-pop group ANXIETEAM - a collaboration between internationally acclaimed artists Jon Burgerman and Jim Avignon - are coming back to the UK, playing live at Primary in Nottingham on Friday 5 October.
Anxieteam splice together merry electronic pop melodies with dry, sardonic lyrics to make music as colourful and as full of humour as each man’s paintings, and equally as fraught with doubt and longing.
Anxieteam’s bright, super-fun live shows have been met with laught
er, acclaim and bemusement in equal measure as the band start the party with masked dancers, live painting and recipe-swapping interludes.
Support comes from naughty little folk-pop maestro WE SHOW UP ON RADAR and dreamy, instrumental wonder-pop merchants HAIKU SALUT.
