Dynamic, fresh and quite brilliantly played, Tyde draw on influences from every corner of the British Isles and beyond in their music, delivering modern, punchy, danceable tunes, carefully arranged songs and intricate, emotional slow sets.
Finalists in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards, Tyde captured the hearts of the live and broadcast audience with mesmerizing performances and infectious personalities. Touted by Mike Harding as “The best young band I’ve heard in years”, it’s the mixture of raw energy, prodigious musical ability and clever, fresh arrangements that make Tyde something different.
