Salt Box Comedy Club, Norwich's original and best alternative comedy club returns to Olives, Elm Hill with a showcase of the best new up-and coming comedians in Norwich.
Chosen from the Norwich's ever-growing open mic comedy scene the new acts will perform and one will win New Act of the Night

Salt Box Comedy Club started in 2007 in the back room of a small pub and moved onto Norwich Arts Centre and has now moved to Olives, Norwich's most exciting new venue, to bring alternative comedy acts from London and give local comedy talent a chance to perform
Television channel DAVE has recently recommended Salt Box as one of the top five alternative comedy clubs outside London.

Dan McKee is a comedian, compere and veteran of fringe theatre. Dan began performing stand-up in 2008 and has developed into an intelligent mix of

despondancy, sarcasm and stupidity from a man who has no intention of dealing with the modern world. Dan has dealt with audiences from rowdy beer festivals to sedate theatres. He is well known for his unique take on audience interaction and quick wit. He has been resident compere at Salt Box Comedy Club and The Birdcage Cabaret for the last 2 years.
