Mallaz presents... Amateur Night at The Big Top is a live music event showcasing talented independent artists from the North East. In a night of Alternative Rock music four bands; The Creep Void, Warning!, The Shake Appeal and Miss Danby and the What will be performing their individual brands of Rock & Roll. Advance tickets for Amateur Night at The Big Top are £4.00 and doors will be open from 7.00pm.

THE CREEP VOID
The Creep Void are an Alternative Rock band hailing from Washington/Gateshead. Having formed in April 2011, they have built up a solid reputation for high energy live performances with numerous gigs both in and outside of the North East. Musically they are heavy and loud, but they do not abandon pop sensibilities either with haunting breakdowns and melodic choruses. Lyrically they pull you into a world that you may not understand, but you will certainly want to by the end. With the forthcoming album APOTHEOSIS, and the video for the single NOT FOR GOD'S SAKE out soon, things are looking good for The Creep Void and their fans.

WARNING!
Warning! are a three-piece Rock/Alternative Rock/Heavy Rock band from Gateshead. Warning! have been a staple of the North East music scene for a couple of years now and after some minor personnel changes they're back and more mental than ever.

THE SHAKE APPEAL
The Shake Appeal are a five-piece Alternative Rock band from South Tyneside. The band formed in late 2010 and The Shake Appeal have received the thumbs up from local promoters & venues who have compared the band to the likes of Be Your Own Pet and The Rapture.

MISS DANBY AND THE WHAT
Miss Danby and the What are an alternative, Experimental Punk Rock band who formed in the summer of 2012 and made their debut at The Cluny in Newcastle in August.
"Support act Miss Danby and The What, performing live for the first time, were a new find. Danby's vocals are at once sweet and harsh - like sandpaper dipped in dairy milk, only a lot more pleasant - which the band underpinned with a Lynchian score by virtue of a near fatal dose of reverb." NARC
