French chanson obliquely revisited by AZUT: Bruno Guastalla, (Vocals, Bandoneon, Cello), Paul Medley (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet), David Stent,(Guitar), Dominic Lash (Double bass). An exciting, entertaining and hugely varied evening of music, with several twists, turns, sinuous diversions passing through waltz and tango, hommages to Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Hans Eisler, (these welknown Frenchmen), as well as Piaf, Brel, Jeanne Moreau.. with forays into medieval pop.
