THE LATE GREATS (Eastbourne)
Eastbourne is a sleepy town full of pensioners and The Late Greats is it's full-frontal wake-up call: bright guitars, incessant melodies, stuttering jerky rhythms and shouty harmonies are all wrapped into three minute bursts of RAW energy. It's a joyously dynamic transatlantic sound that recalls the likes of The Fall and Pixies in their most catchy moments.

One of the brightest your bands from the increasingly lively scene in the southwest, Pinstripe play the brooding kind of indie rock that's both atmospheric and muscular at the same time.
On Southwest Records, run by the guy who first put out Muse records, they've already got a Glastonbury Festival gig under their belts and things look well on the up.
