ACID COUNTRY 7….it’s that time of the year when we gather together some of our very favourite roots-tinged acts and dress the venue up with swing doors, sawdust and other western effects. Plus a free Tex-Mex flavoured BBQ for earlycomers!

THE REDLANDS PALOMINO COMPANY (London)
Headlining this year’s acid country, in between prestigious festival slots at Cardiff and Guildford, the RPC have established themselves as one of the best ever twang rock bands in the UK with harmonies of a Gram n Emmylou quality having a lot to do with it.

LONE PINE (Cardiff)
Veering from harmony drenched, acoustic led tales of hope and heartbreak to all out swinging rock at the drop of a chord, Lone Pine are a Welsh quartet taking the best bits of the Americana and nu-folk and dashing them liberally across a sound steeped in the traditions of classic rock.
They're currently finishing off their debut album which features guest vocals from none other than Victoria Williams (from The Creekdippers) on a couple of tracks.

The mighty Kan is one hell of a party band, dishing out a mix of acoustic punk, hiphop and bluegrass with a side-helping of Chas n Dave.
