NAUTICAL NOTES: MUSIC OF THE SEA

Ahoy, me hearties! Join Trinity Orchestra on a voyage of musical discovery and learn more about the instruments of the orchestra in this family concert for all ages, captained by conductor and concert presenter Andrew Morley.

Audience members will be sure to find their sea-legs as Harrow's premier orchestra performs famous ocean-themed music, including excerpts from the Pirates of Penzance by Sullivan, Scheherazade by Rimsky Korsakov, and Homeward Journey (Shipwreck) from Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite.

Plus, there's the opportunity to take part in a fun-filled pre-concert workshop at 2pm. Bring along an instrument (not electric) and join in with musical activities led by acclaimed workshop leader Neil Valentine, as he entertains and inspires workshop participants with some maritime music-making, culminating in a performance with Trinity Orchestra in the concert!

Concert Only: £5
Concert & Workshop: £7

Workshop Information:
Age 6+. Arrive at 1.45pm for 2pm start. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. If possible, please email your name, age and instrument to us at trinityorchestra@hotmail.co.uk in advance of the workshop.
