Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary has inspired composers from all ages to produce some of their most sumptuous music. Bringing together settings of beautifully poetic texts which celebrate Mary’s humility, devotion and anguish, this programme encompasses a cappella music spanning five centuries. Music to include:
