Winner of some of the most prestigious international awards (Oscar for best actor and director, Palme d’Or at Cannes), this is an astounding film based on the true story of a Polish-Jewish concert musician who survived WWII.
The film is also partly linked to the director’s life, as he survived a Polish ghetto as a child during the war.
