Butcher Boy
The very welcome return of Glasgow's Butcher Boy, whose critically acclaimed debut "Profit In Your Poetry" is a strong contender for album for the year. This gig comes hard on the heels of a month of free cafe shows in Glasgow and a new EP, "The Eighteenth Emergency". Expect heartstopping orchestral indie pop with echoes of Tindersticks, Felt and Love. "Regret, giro-funded couplets, sensual ambiguity – it’s all here, resurrecting a great British genre." - Uncut

Francois
Handclaps? Check. Melodica? Check. Recorder? Check. Awkward, exuberant dancing? Check. Bookish boys with library tans singing “I’m so glad I met you” to that special someone (ie, bookish girls with health food store tans)? Check. Francois certainly come from a recognised indie lineage – and yet their ramshackle mix of toy town electronica and loose-limbed Modern Lovers style is utterly charming and quietly ambitious. As is their French singer, Francois, who has the air of a future indie pop icon about him.

Little My
Little My are an assortment of 8 to 15 people stolen from various Cardiff and Bristol bands who are forced to play one to two minute songs whilst wearing animal ears in public. Members of Los Campesinos!, The School and The Loves are thought to be involved, although quite who will show up on the night is always uncertain. Expect joyous indiepop featuring glockenspiels, handclaps, melodicas and lots and lots of fun.
