From the heart of London comes a group of inspired young musicians who reflect the diverse styles of the big city. With a core love for folk music the players who originate from Ireland, England, Spain, America and beyond come together to blend original and traditional tunes with infectiously dancable blues, rock and funk grooves. The 15 strong band includes everything from virtuoso fiddlers to master drummers and monster brass riffs to beautiful voices.

Expect a show that's packed with brilliant arrangements and stunning playing but from a band that never takes itself too seriously. The Stamp Collective was formed in 2009. Led by Joe Broughton and Paloma Trigas, the 20-piece band made up primarily of students from the Guildhall School of Music in London has taken tunes from all over the globe and worked them into energetic arrangements.

They have performed in various London venues including the Barbican Hall as part of the Urban Sounds showcase in 2009 as well as spending an evening recording in Abbey Road studios in Spring 2009.

In May 2010 the ensemble performed in the Vortex Jazz Club alongside world-famous gypsy virtuoso fiddler Roby Lakatos, who joined the band on stage for their encore in front of a packed audience. In July they performed with the Young East London Folk Ensemble in the Barbican Hall.
