Specialist Subject is the night where comedians finally get a chance to be funny about the things that really matter to them, whether you've heard of those things or not.
In the past we've had impassioned arguments for veganism from Sara Pascoe, a dissection of teenage fandom from Elis James, Steven Seagal examined by Thom Tuck, the mechanics of horse-breeding from Aisling Bea, a history of mugging from Simon Hickson, a critical literary analysis of Mister Men from Ivo Graham and loads more niche sets.
We promise no jokes about airline food, and no sets about the perceived differences between women and men.
We promise hilarity, learning, nerdiness, new material and a comedy experience you can't get anywhere else.
